THE FIRST VISIT
What To Expect On Your First Visit: Understanding how well your body moves, performs, and recovers is critical. Nearly half of all sports-related injuries are caused by overuse and non-contact incidents. These injuries are preventable if specific risk factors are identified through Sport-Specific Movement Efficiency Testing.
- Reviewing your medical history.
- Sport-Specific Movement Efficiency Exam: Assessing + diagnosing your condition and needs . Within this exam, you will be given specific data and information on how well your body is performing and moving.
- Personalized Practitioner Performance Treatment: Based on exam findings, the doctor will spend time working on specific muscle groups that may or may not work efficiently. This may also include previously injured areas or future areas of concern. While this first session will be performed during your initial visit, keep in mind that it usually takes between 4-8 treatments to resolve findings.
- At the end of your initial visit, a treatment schedule + plan will be created to monitor and fine-tune your body. This plan accounts for your overall health, lifestyle and activities. A customized course of exercises will be created to help you set and reach physical goals.
